Retail Banking has emerged as the driver for growth both in terms of turnover and in terms of profitability. One of the recent trends is the Retail Banking Customer does not desire to be tied down to the host branch where the account is maintained for accessing the services. Option to access the services from other branches in the bank network is sought. Thus the customer needs to be looked upon as a customer of the Bank rather than as a customer of a particular branch. This calls for integrating the branch network to provide services from any point in the network in a seamless manner.

 ABB Application

The ABB application will be installed in a dedicated machine at each branch that is connected to the eSwitch(Head office SWITCH Server).

Any Branch Banking

• Customers can access banking services from the list of branches of WBSCB and will not be constrained to access services only from the branch where the account is maintained.

Off-line Access

Customers will have the freedom to access through other branches even when the host branch – branch with which the account is maintained – is closed on account of after office hours or Holiday
